American sports betting is still growing, but that does not mean you should punt on Entain shares today

I am not receiving compensation for it (other than from ShareProphets). I have no business relationship with any company whose stock is mentioned in this article.

I am sure that there are a significant minority of people out there who regard investment as gambling…and then are grumpy when their corporate pension fund sometimes does not go up (let alone their house - or houses - price). Whilst I am all over investment, I regard fully owning one house as more than enough and I gamble via the bwin, Coral, Ladbrokes, PartyPoker and Sportingbet owner Entain (ENT) infrequently. However, whilst I might not be one of its target customers, I do keep an eye on the FTSE 100 name as I got lucky on the stock as an investor during the early Covid-19 period.
